on-site at the Stockholm School of Economics, Sveavägen 65
05 March 15:00 - 18:00

Welcome to a seminar on family offices and family investment companies focusing on what drives strategic and financial decision-making in these organizations. The event is a collaboration between the Stockholm School of Economics Center for Family Enterprise and SEB, funder of the SEB Chair in Entrepreneurship and Family Business.

Family offices and family investment companies are emerging as major actors in both public and private markets and their operating logic and strategic choices can be usefully understood through the lens of established family enterprise research and frameworks in addition to financial economics theory.

The seminar will feature researchers from SSE’s Center for Family Enterprise presenting a report with an overview of previous and current research. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Anna and Nicklas Storåkers (Yanno Capital) as well as Erik and Magnus Brandberg (Gullspång Invest) who will discuss the research and the unique dynamics of working in close family constellations.
